| The wine assortment of the estate Willi Haag ranges from quality wine to "Beerenauslese" or ice wine. In 2006 we were able to harvest two excellent "Beerenauslese" wines. | ||||||

In 2003 the estate was awarded a gold medal for wines of outstanding quality by the magazine "Alles über Wein" (Everything about wine). Other specialist magazines like "Der Feinschmecker" (The Gourmet), "Eichelmann" as well as Gault MIllau give recommendations on a regular basis. |

Caused by the southward position on the weather-beaten slate soils the Riesling wines have an elegant mineral touch with a character that is typical of this region.
2/3 of the wines are produced for the foreign market, this is the reason for the relatively high share of 70% of naturally sweet wines. |
